Francesco Avolio
Since an early age, Francesco Avolio discovered his art, being inclined to art and beauty in all its forms. Always interested in creativity, he approached the world of hairstyling as a very young man. Then Francesco moved to Florence and worked for many years in one of the best known hair salons in the city. Few years later, he moved to Paris then Milan, making a series of big and small, decidedly rewarding and fulfilling experiences.The next move was attending a makeup academy. Francesco made his first steps in the fashion world and got involved with several photographers: Toni Thorimbert, Giovanni Gastel Michael Woolley, Pablo Arroyo, Alexander Meininger, Emilio Tini, Marco Cella, Massimo Pamparana, Uli Weber, Thomas Straub, Roberto Patella and Stefano Moro.Francesco claims to have the pleasure of working with several celebrities like Andrea Bosca, Alessandro Borghi, Edoardo Leo, Alex Zanardi, Ambra Angiolini, Andrea Carpenzano, Giacomo Ferrara, Jack Savoretti, Alberto Matano, Antonio Folletto, Fiammetta Cicogna, Francesco Montanari, Cristiana Capotondi, Malika Ayane and Arnaud Valois.His work has been published on Style magazine Italia, Vogue Germany, Vogue Italia, Glamor, Sportweek, Grazia, Gq Italia, Vanity Fair, Io Donna, Icon magazine, D with the nationwide newspaper La Repubblica and Hunter fashion magazine. Francesco Avolio is based in Milan.
