Chidozie Obasi

Chidozie Obasi is a Nigerian fashion critic, journalist and editor born in Padua, Italy. From a young age, he took on a career as international styles correspondent and columnist at world-leading titles, where he profiled fashion's leading game-changers including the likes of Iris Van Herpen and Noir Key Ninomiya, while editing long-form critiques on race relations and global social affairs. His work was named amid 100 'Leading Industry Power Players' by Glam Observer's 2022 report, alongside a wealth of influential figures across the remits of arts and culture such as Edward Enninful, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Tom Ford, Miuccia Prada and beyond. In 2023, he was appointed Fashion Critic-at-Large at New York-based magazine Office, reviewing the men's and womenswear shows in London, Milan and Paris with a sharp, provocative insight. Obasi also covers the role of Deputy Features Director at German outlet LE MILE, overseeing all the digital verticals and has by-lines featured in The Guardian, Vogue Italia, L'Uomo Vogue, i-D-UK, ELLE, ELLE Italia, Il Sole 24 Ore, Esquire Italia, Harper's Bazaar (UK), Harper's Bazaar Italia, Highsnobiety, Dazed Magazine, Marie Claire (UK), British GQ, Grazia Magazine (UK), AnOther Magazine, Luxury Daily and Carine Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book.
